Full access requires a paid subscription, which is typically geared toward brokers and serious investors. That said, it’s worth knowing about because your advisor should absolutely be using it.
LoopNet
LoopNet is CoStar’s consumer-facing platform and is probably the most widely recognized CRE listing site available to the general public. You can search by property type, location, size, and price range. It’s a solid starting point, though the most premium listings often require a paid membership to access fully.
Crexi (Commercial Real Estate Exchange)
Crexi has grown rapidly and is a strong competitor to LoopNet. It’s user-friendly, offers solid search functionality, and features a wide range of property types. I’ve seen some excellent deals surface here that weren’t listed elsewhere.
Catylist / CityFeet / BizBuySell
These are additional platforms worth bookmarking depending on your market and property type. BizBuySell, for instance, is particularly useful when you’re looking at businesses with real estate attached.
Don’t Sleep on Local and Regional Resources
Here’s something a lot of people miss: some of the best commercial listings never make it to the big national portals.
