WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it.
We do share it with the service providers that run this business, and only so they can perform their function:
| Provider | What it does | Where to read their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Automattic / WordPress.com | Hosts this website | automattic.com/privacy |
| Jetpack | Site performance, security, and statistics | automattic.com/privacy |

We may add or change providers, including website analytics and email delivery services. When we do, the provider handles information only to perform its function for us, under its own published privacy policy, and this page is updated.
We also share information when we are required to:
- With eXp Commercial, the brokerage of record, where a transaction requires it
- With your own professionals, such as your attorney, CPA, lender, or escrow officer, when you ask us to or when a transaction requires it

COOKIES AND TRACKING
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary to make the site work. Others help us understand how the site is used, or measure advertising.
This site does not currently present a cookie consent banner. Cookies are set when you use the site. You can control them through your browser. Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete existing ones, or warn you before one is set. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this site, including form submission and scheduling.
Third parties may track you across sites. Google, HubSpot, and other providers listed above may collect information about your activity across different websites over time. We do not control that collection. Their policies, linked above, govern it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how a website should respond to that signal, and this site does not currently respond to it. Third parties operating on this site may or may not honor it, and we do not control that.
This disclosure is made under California Business and Professions Code section 22575(b)(5).
YOUR CHOICES
- Email. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. Use it and you are off the list. We may still contact you about an active transaction
- Forms. Do not submit one. Call (916) 513-0217 instead
- Cookies. Control them in your browser
- Advertising. Opt out of personalized Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com, and industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info
Reviewing and changing your information
Email matt@cll-cre.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us what you want. We will:
- Confirm we received your request
- Verify you are who you say you are, usually by replying to the email address we hold
- Tell you what we have, correct it, or delete it, within 45 days
We may keep information we are legally required to keep, including transaction records a licensed California real estate salesperson must retain.
California residents
California law gives residents specific privacy rights. Whether the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to a given business depends on thresholds relating to revenue, the number of consumers whose information it handles, and whether it sells personal information. Regardless of whether those thresholds are met here, we will honor a request to know, correct, or delete personal information from a California resident, using the process above, and we will not discriminate against you for making one.
California residents may also request, once per year and free of charge, a list of any personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code section 1798.83. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
- Inquiries that do not become clients: up to 3 years, then deleted
- Transaction records: retained as required of a licensed California real estate salesperson
- Email list: until you unsubscribe
- Web logs and analytics: as set by the providers above
SECURITY
We use providers that maintain industry standard safeguards, and this site is served over HTTPS.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This matters most for one thing: wire fraud is real and it targets real estate transactions. We will never send you wire instructions by email and then change them by email. Call (916) 513-0217 and verify any wire instruction verbally, using a number you already had, before you send money.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
This site links to other websites, including mattbingamanrealestate.com, listing platforms, and news sources. This policy does not cover them. Read theirs.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
